What is the USPAP?

John Polonenko and AircraftAppraisers.ca bring 30 years of aviation flight operations, maintenance and consulting experience in the business & commercial, missions, private and airline environments, both domestically and internationally.

The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) are the generally accepted standards for professional appraisal practice in North America, for financial and legal purposes.

The purpose of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice “USPAP” is to promote and maintain a high level of public trust in appraisal practice by establishing requirements for appraisers.

The Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) of ‘The Appraisal Foundation’ promulgates USPAP for both appraisers and users of appraisal services.

USPAP addresses the ethical and performance obligations of appraisers through definitions; ethics for integrity, impartiality and objectivity; knowledge, experience, rules, standards and statements for certain appraisals.

John Polonenko is a NAAA USPAP endorsed Senior Aircraft Appraiser.
